will be over
no ancient rocks that will burn
to fuel the order

suburbs will become
ruined, writhing, dying slums
cities winding down
amidst the futile battle ground

Time for the new world dream
or forget we ever had one

food to eat, a place to sleep
subsistence reality

small cities and towns
will write the pages of history
they won't carry dead weight
for the rest of a nation

legislated disparity
will be over
politicians will be on their knees
